Shortly after the release of OCZ's triple-channel DDR3 memory kits, Corsair has now officially announced their offerings. The DDR3 RAM, specifically designed for Intel's next-generation Core i7 processors, will be available in six different variations with capacities of 3GB and 6GB and speeds of 1333MHz, 1600MHz, and 1866MHz.

It looks like OCZ is first out of the gate with a triple channel memory kit for the upcoming Intel Core i7 processors / Intel X58 Express Chipset motherboards. The new, hand-tested 3GB and 6GB kits are designed specifically for the new platform, and use an optimized combination for low voltage requirements, speed, and latency to deliver optimal performance.

As we all eagerly await the release of Intel's Core i7 (Nehalem) processors, news is beginning to surface regarding the X58 motherboards. Thus far, the best performing motherboard seems to be the ASUS Rampage II Extreme, with is, of course, specifically designed for the Intel i7 processors.
