I just got here 2 days ago. I was able to pay to get straight in..because I went back to Boar's Island and started the 100's list. So I had the money to get in, buy a fire dragon, and than realized I need to go back to the Catacombs..but that is not what I am here to say.
200,000 is high for most when they first get here. So if you take care of the 100's along the way, it will only be a piece of what you have.

there are 2 quests where you are givin 100,000 one was the princess after beating vikram and the other i dont remember bet it was after vikram before barenhoff

Okay, I got both of those..I just thought that I missed something. I was thinking you were saying you are given $200,000. Not $100,000 twice. But my point was I also have 10 fire dragons and paid the entry fee

Did anyone figure out the best way to beat the Chainling monster w/o wasting so much energy and health?

Hmmmm... Rick, I think you need good hair to "do" the Lava Chainling. I did it long ago, and I did not find it as frustrating as some other parts of the game. I stuck at it until I had 100 of something. The Lava Links become Fire Shields. I now consider a fire shield to be a piece of junk but at the time it was valuable.

I found the way...it is through Sulindal! But I can see that several things require loads of money...200k for an Open Tunnel Trek?? Is that really necessary?

I managed to finish Falhill (thanks to the wonderful notes and walkthrough) ...went back to Falhill not sure how to get to get to Inlet Covet or Barrenhoff. Now I found Inlet Covet, but not sure how to get to Barrenhoff. Do I have to go back to Falhill Dungeon, or I can go from Inlet Covet?

Barrenhoff is through Sulindal. Sail east/south from Inlet Cove... Sulindal Beach, then inland.
