Hi,
@Merlin:
Thanks, this is great!
Today, I have some advice for the cautious (like me

):
stocking up on supplies by farming for them.
Once you have done Oakwood with Nic's lovely walkthrough (
look here), it may be worth your while to return to Oakwood to farm
Green Elixirs from Rimi (2 stam vs. cost in the store: 500 gold).
I walked out of that place with approx. 240 Green Elixirs. Now I know what I need the pack mules for.
Then you can fight the Dreamcutter Dragons (again? 24 hour boss), and "march to the road split".
Pick up your stuff from Sgt Renald, flatten the skeletons in Kyndale (earns gold), and walk into Kalamar, farming
dumplings in the cafe in Kalamar townhouses (4 stam + 100 g vs. 500 g in the store). I walked out of that place with approx 55 dumplings (carried by my pack mules, I suppose

).
If you farm for the supplies, you can use your gold stocking up on the best armor and weapons in the store in Kalamar market. (and you're going to need them

....) I always buy the best stuff the first time around, and when I come back there later to buy more, I compare value and att/def.
With these "homemaker tactics" (always keep enough food and drink in the house

), I was able to beat Amrit Armored, the Summoned Dragon, and Amrit Revealed the first time (Yippie!!!!

) without having to worry about supplies getting low.
With these b***, you need to keep munching dumplings and drinking elixirs like it was going out of style - and don't let your health get low! (Thanks for the good advice about keeping health up, which I read here in this forum! *hugs*).
And once you have beaten Amrit Revealed and feel all high and mighty - the game takes you on a quest where you have to talk to - and then fight - Vikram! I was scared sh**less!
But no, this is not the Vikram fight that all the experienced players are talking about, but if you are short on supplies then, he will definitely kick your butt.
So, to make a long story short:
I have found that it is a great idea to keep my traveling party well supplied with food and drink, which I can farm for. After all, who wants to fight on an empty stomach?
Best regards
Anja
/edit:
Once you are in Kalamar, it is a good idea to purchase Lotus Petals (20 energy) and bread (50 health).
This stuff comes cheap and enables you to upgrade your health / energy to full levels between fights without wasting any health / energy points. As an addition - 20 more energy here, 50 more health there...
Lotus petals: Kalamar Store, bread: Kalamar Townhouses store.
