Stuck at Gildin Falls

hi i am stuck at gildin falls hidden road for days and have been reading the forums for help as well but...... still stuck....

i am stuck at the part where cap reith captures ian i think... cant really double check on the details since i am kind of travelling around the world again looking for clues.....

the last time the guy said was ask your army to head back or something.....
