The X301 is a very slick computer. I love the lightweight and the excellent combination of features. Lenovo continues to maintain the standard of the Thinkpad line. The X301 is not inexpensive but you get what you pay for.

I own one of these and work for a media company.

On’y one dissapointment from our users is that they look bland. Working in a design company we need the shell to look nice when presenting. This has always been IBM’s/Lenovo’s downfall from our perspective.

From a technical perspective the X301 is a lovely piece of kit and this review is bang on the mark!

This laptop is great, especially the biometrics sensor which quickly integrates with the Windows 7 login system (possibly older versions too) so that instead of typing in a password you can merely swipe your finger down the sensor et voila!
