Are your desktop and/or work area cluttered with adapters, wires, and all sorts of junk? Even if the answer is no, the Gadget4All all-in-one mouse pad can improve organization and offer more functionality for anyone that currently uses a mouse pad. Combo gadgets are usually a good thing – they save space, offer more functionality, and when they’re designed properly, can be an item of beauty. Similar to the SourcingMap All-in-One Music Mouse Pad, Gadget4All recently designed a new combo gadget disguised in the form of a mouse pad. Gadget4All’s all-in-one mouse pad consists of built-in speakers, 4 USB ports, a 3.5mm audio port, and a speaker in port so that you can connect your iPod, Zune, or other MP3 player. The roll-up capability makes it perfect for use when traveling. As already mentioned, combo gadgets are great, but for only $22, this combo gadget should be of particular interest.

It seems cool, but the speakers probably suck.

Not sure if this is a cool idea or not. The idea of miouse pads with things on them is not new. I once had a gift given to me, it was a mouse pad with a clock/calculator on it. I never really got the point.
The thing that would sell it to me is a) if the sound quality is OK and B) the fact that you can roll it up. There are many times when I have gone to visit a client without speakers or a mouse mat for that matter….

Thanks. WIll check it out. Only point worth mentioning was since they will all be using a single USB connection, would that not slow thinsg down??? I did use a USB one-to-many extension, but it failed miserably.

I don’t see the appeal to it… laptops already have speakers, and you rarely need a mousepad unless your desk is glass. The extra ports would be nice sometimes, but you can get a multiport USB that’s much smaller than that.

My only big concern is that the USB ports seem to be facing TOWARDS the user. IN which case I think that when cables are being plugged in, you would be twisting them to not interfere with you using your mouse on the mousepad (or using the mousepad AS a mousepad
)
I would think that if they would have turned that part around, allowing the cables to be plugged into the device from the rear, it would be a whole lot more useful.

Base on the image shown it can be rolled so it must be made of e-paper. I think this gadget is a steal for $22.

This has got to be the coolest, most useful gadget I’ve seen in a long time. It at least ranks right up there with my USB powered fan
